With 4 HDMI inputs (and 1 HDMI out), the VSX-AX4Si-S is fully capable of handling 1080p video signals; which means you can enjoy everything that high definition audio and video has to offer – from HD broadcasts to the Blu-ray disc films of the (near) future.
The VSX-AXA4Si has a USB input for a direct connection to your PC, as well as an i.LINK terminal for uncompromised digital processing of DVD-Audio and SACD sources. Additionally the VSX-AXA4Si includes a second smaller, intuitive remote control for multi-room use or for simple, daily control of the most used functions.
The VSX-AXA4Si also comes with extended iPod functionality. So you can connect your iPod via a single cable (included with the system) – and play both your music and iPod photos via the receiver.
A distinguishing feature is the system’s Advanced MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration), which not only calibrates and optimises the sound output for your home environment, but also neutralises the effects of reverberation – which enables even more accurate tonal measurement and calibration of the frequency balance.
