It is compatible with DVD and all other A/V sources. Delivers the most natural, seamless 6.1- or 7.1-channel listening experience. Processes any high-quality stereo, 5.1, or Dolby Digital Surround EX–encoded content into 6.1 or 7.1 playback channels, depending on speaker configuration: Left, Center, Right, Left Surround, Left Back, Right Surround, Right Back, and subwoofer. For home theatre and music playback in the home, DTS-ES provides high quality 6.1 discrete channel surround sound with many extras not offered by other consumer formats. Silent Cinema makes it possible to hear large-scale surround sound through ordinary headphones! The Digital ToP-ART design concept combines the latest and best technologies, parts and circuit designs to maximize sound quality. High Current Amplification uses superior quality components from input to output to achieve high current power with low impedance. YPAO uses a small microphone and advanced processing technology to analyze room acoustics. It then automatically adjusts various speaker parameters for optimum sound quality at the listening position. It works in only three minutes and extremely easy to use. With YPAO, you do not have to worry about careful speaker placement and will be assured of “professionally calibrated” surround sound quality.
